19 March 2007 was a certificate ceremony day of M.6 students, class of 23. There were a lot of people coming and walking around Pattanawittaya School. They came to congratulate the students graduated this year. And one of them was me. Students in each class were given the certificate one by one until the last person. After that, the school director gave the speech to every student which was “As you have completed you M.6, you must contribute your knowledge to the society and do not forget to be good to you parents.”
When the certificate ceremony had finished, students came out from the hall and went to take pictures with friends and families at the points which were beautifully decorated by their beloved teachers.
The atmosphere is full of joy, no enemies nor gangs. Everyone was friends. For those who hated each other, they became friends. And those why even never said hello to each other had a chance to talk.
Importantly, the most exciting thing was that we saw out school director who was arrogant and mean smiled on that day. Moreover, the school director took pictures with the students. How could this be true?
However, my parents did not come and join me on that day. This did not stop me from feeling proud of myself that I finally accomplished my duty although it was just half of it because there are still many things I have to be responsible for. This was yet the impression that I would never forget.
